Yes both a NEMA 14/50 (240v) and US standard 120v plug are included. But note that the 120v plug unfortunately is limited to only 10amps MAX. I guess BMW is overly concerned with folks overloading the typical 15amp circuit. Very unfortunate for those of us with a dedicated 20amp outlet in our garage. However, as most folks here have reiterated, the "average user" will find 120v much too slow.

Yes both a NEMA 14/50 (240v) and US standard 120v plug are included. But note that the 120v plug unfortunately is limited to only 10amps MAX. I guess BMW is overly concerned with folks overloading the typical 15amp circuit. Very unfortunate for those of us with a dedicated 20amp outlet in our garage. However, as most folks here have reiterated, the "average user" will find 120v much too slow.

Does anyone know if the iX is capable of bi-directional charging? Looks like it's possible to use EV battery as a back-up for the home in emergencies but must be approved by the manufacturer. Thinking about installing the Dcbel R16 bi-directional charger but can't find anything online that says.
